The Challenge
The Riverside Company is a global private equity firm with more than 1,000 investments worldwide, managing complex marketing operations across multiple regions.
To support that scale, Riverside needed to centralize its marketing communications within HubSpot Enterprise.
Marketing operations were spread across multiple systems and the database itself was highly complex, with 128,000+ contact records. Overlapping records, missing primary emails and outdated contacts made segmentation and reporting difficult to trust.
With dozens of press releases annually, recurring marketing communications and global stakeholders across North America, Europe and Australia, Riverside required a compliant, scalable system built for enterprise-level volume and governance.
The Solution
Kiwi designed and implemented a customized HubSpot Enterprise environment built for governance, automation and long-term scalability.
We began with stakeholder workshops to define lifecycle stages, reporting requirements and property standards. From there, we architected a unified portal structure capable of supporting global teams inside a single system.
A structured migration moved ~90,000 records into HubSpot, supported by deduplication logic, standardized property mapping and nickname normalization to preserve data integrity. Outdated records were flagged for suppression, ensuring a cleaner, more actionable database at launch.
To maintain synchronization, we configured a Snowflake-based integration using Fivetran ingestion and ETL routines. The framework includes conflict resolution logic, field precedence rules and a 24-hour automated sync cadence. A custom dashboard enables high-volume processing with full audit visibility.
Executive dashboards were built to provide real-time insight into campaign performance, engagement metrics and list health across core communication types.
The Outcome
Riverside now operates within a centralized, governed marketing infrastructure inside HubSpot.
Communications, segmentation and reporting are managed in a single environment with automated synchronization and standardized data controls. Manual reconciliation and spreadsheet tracking have been replaced with real-time dashboards and structured workflows.
With improved data hygiene, automated bounce handling and unified reporting, leadership has clear visibility into engagement performance across global communications, all supported by an enterprise-ready system designed to scale alongside Riverside’s continued growth.
